HERE COMES THE WALKING & RAWKING DEAD

Thunder Bay, ON – Wiggins Pro-Ductions will be teaming up with the Zombie Apocalypse Survival Training Association (Z.A.S.T.A.) to host the 2nd annual Zombie Walk & Rawk, Saturday, August 24. Zombie walkers and spectators are also invited to the Zombie Rawk after party at Black Pirates Pub for zombie prizes and live entertainment.

Zombie Walk Organized and Fun

A zombie walk (also known as zombie crawl or zombie mob) is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes and makeup. Participants make their way around the city streets and are encouraged to remain in character as zombies, communicating only in a manner consistent with zombie behavior. This may include grunting, groaning and moaning calls for ‘brains’. Zombie walks are a way for horror movie fans to get together and share their love of zombie culture in a creative and fun environment.

This year hordes of brain and rib hungry zombies of all ages will gather at the Baggage Building Arts Centre in Marina Park at 7pm. From there, they will make their way through the streets of downtown Port Arthur to the centre of this year’s Ribfest at the OLG casino parking lot on Park Avenue.

After the walk, participants and on-lookers (both living and undead) are invited to Black Pirates Pub (215 Red River Road) for the Zombie Rawk, an after party of ghoulish proportions. The night will feature door prize draws for all zombies and zombie slayers provided by Creation Body Piercing and 10.Cal Concepts, zombie face & body painting provided by Ashley Meagher Makeup Design, and live entertainment from local acts, including The Bay Street Bastards (Celtric rock / hockey rock), The Bottom Rockers (rock / punk rock), Point North (experimental rock / hard rock), and the Straight and Narrow (rock n roll / indie rock).

Doors open for the Zombie Rawk at 10pm. Cover is $5. Age of majority required. For more information, visit www.TBshows.com for more information.
