Elvis Presley – No One Like Him Since!

THUNDER BAY – Elvis Presley died 35 years ago. The King of Rock and Roll was an iconic performer who drove women crazy, made parents in the 1950s angry as their daughters swooned for Elvis.

Elvis as the song ‘My Way’ says, did it his way.

In an era just before the Vietnam War, and at the staggering start of his career, the musician headed into the United States Army and served in Germany.

Coming back to his career, he did a number of movies, and likely for many is most famous for his long-standing performances in Las Vegas and some of his television specials.

Aloha From Hawaii was billed as a comeback, and the iconic rocker hit the stage like he had never left it.

With a voice that covered all ranges of music, Elvis ranged from his early hits, Hound Dog, to ballads like ‘In the Ghetto’ Elvis still has the ability to move people though his singing.
