The Honourable Greg Rickford, the Minister of State for Science and Technology has the responsibility for the Ring of Fire, and FedNor. Minister Rickford will address the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday August 14 2013. The sold out luncheon event will be offered in a Live Broadcast on NetNewsLedger.com.

Tune-in online on Wednesday August 14th at 12:00EDT – Minister Rickford will address the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce  at a luncheon at the Italian Cultural Centre on Algoma Street.

Tickets for the event are sold out. NetNewsLedger working with the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce will offer the speech live online so you can join in.

Youth Centres TBay

Youth Centres Thunder BayLet us put a shine on your ride. Youth Centres Thunder Bay will be holding a fund raising car wash at Breeny’s Auto Body on 111 Vickers Street, Saturday, August 17th, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The cost is only $5 and funds raised will go towards the support of the youth centre located in Victoriaville Shopping Centre.

Tickets can be bought in advance at the Youth Centre – 711 Victoria Avenue East (Archibald & Victoria Avenue Entrance).

City Hall Sound – Week Two

Families were on hand to enjoy the great food, amazing music and pleasant weather.

Come down to City Hall on Aug 15 between 12-1 and have some great food from Local Catering Trucks and Music by Nathaniel Dupuis.

Eco Superior , Bay Street Film Festival , Roots to Harvest , Full Moon Memory Walk , the Respect initiative will all be there too! The event runs from 12PM EDT to 1PM EDT. Make your plans on Thursday to come down and enjoy the music, the food and the pleasant atmosphere of an inspired downtown.
