NIPIGON – An annual fun filled event for the whole family, this year’s Nipigon Blueberry Blast Festival wraps up on Monday.

This year’s edition has again provided a variety of food and entertainment for all ages. In addition to live music and blueberry themed foods, local artisans and vendors have been keeping everyone smiling throughout the weekend.

And of course the festival wouldn’t be called a Blueberry Blast without it’s namesake. One of the feature events is the blueberry picking.

A bus is available to take people to the prime picking spots, and leaves from the Paddle to the Sea Park. While visiting, be sure to enjoy what Nipigon and the surrounding area has to offer.

The Blueberry Blast is organized and run by a central committee and aided by local volunteers.
