Drug Arrests by Calgary Police in Dial-A-Dope Sting
CALGARY – Four people have been arrested after a month-long investigation into a dial-a-dope operation, and a huge quantity of drugs and weapons have been seized.
Officers received information that led them to believe that two houses were being used as “stash pads” for this drug dealing group. The houses, located in the 6200 block of 17 Ave. S.E. and the other stash pad in the 900 block of Pensdale Cres. S.E. in Calgary.
The weapons seized indicated to police that the accused were concerned about potential threats.
Calgary Police executed search warrants on both houses, as well as a vehicle associated to a group.
Items seized include:
– Methamphetamine ($98,000)
– Marijuana ($52,000)
– Heroin ($30,000)
– Cocaine ($11,000)
– Oxycontin (Unknown amount)
– Codeine (Unknown amount)
– Long-barreled rifles (x4)
– Revolver pistol
– Other weapons including: swords, machetes, a conducted energy weapon (taser), flare gun, and bear spray.
Charged with multiple drug and weapons-related offences are: David Lee Little, Jeremy Douglas Mockler, Brandi Lee Ellis, and Jani Kristian Suutarinen.
