MacsTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Quick action by Thunder Bay Police has led to the arrest of a suspect in a Macs Store robbery. 

Shortly before 01:00AM EDT on July 21, 2013, Thunder Bay Police report that a lone male entered the Mac’s at 1802 East Victoria Avenue. The suspect then allegedly held a knife to the throat of the store clerk.

The clerk escaped with a small cut to his neck, the robbery suspect then proceeded to take cigarettes and fled the store. 

The accused 20 year old male was located in a yard not far form the scene.

The accused male is facing numerous charges in relation to this incident.

There have been a number of Mac’s Store robberies. Several of the Thunder Bay area stores have started closing up earlier, and ending the twenty-four hour nature of their business.
