THUNDER BAY – Readers Ledger – I would like to issue a challenge to Mayor Keith Hobbs, Through the years talking to the local businesses, they have all had issues and struggles with the city.
It is interesting how I have an interest in three different businesses in our community and all three have problems with the city!
Challenge issued to Mayor Keith Hobbs
I will be more than glad to meet with you Keith Hobbs, but it is more than resolving the issues I have with the city and administration, it is about building a community where local entrepreneurs could actually have an opportunity to live and earn an honest income and life.
It is about giving the opportunity for investment in our community to build more business, create employment and to drive our economy in a positive direction.
This current city council and administration are doing the complete opposite.
What we need is a city council that really understands business environment, the economy, finance, marketing and the government role in working with business.
We do not need what we currently have, which is a red tape administration full of obstacles that work against our local small and medium sized businesses. With just a little more than a year to go before the next municipal election, my challenge to you Mayor Keith Hobbs, will you stand up for business and make some real changes.
I am standing up for business and it is about time someone does!
