THUNDER BAY – Are you ready for Canada Day? Is your group or company interested in being in the Canada Day Parade? Sophie Best shares that now is the time.

“It’s time to get creative and plan your entry for this year’s Canada Day Parade!” comments Best.

Canada Day Parade

This year’s parade is encouraging “green and active living”.  Instead of vehicle-based floats, all entries must use transportation such as walking, marching, dancing, performing, skating or cycling.  Individuals, families, businesses, charities, community groups, sports teams and more are invited to participate and show their Canadian pride.

Everyone is encouraged to be creative with costumes and props for a chance to win the Mayor’s Choice Award.

Help promote a sustainable, healthy and active Thunder Bay while having fun and showing off your patriotic spirit.
