
CALGARY – On Friday, June 7, 2013 at 7:00 PM, members of the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit (ITU) were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover collision on Highway 2, approximately 2 kilometers north of Airdrie Alberta. Airdrie is about 20 kilometres north of Calgary.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers located a Ford pickup truck that had rolled into the center median. There were 2 adult male occupants in the truck at the time of the collision, but neither sustained any injuries.
The Ford truck had been pulling an asphalt-mixer trailer, which also rolled across the highway.

The cause of the collision is believed to be due to mechanical failure.
RCMP and Sheriffs are integrating provincial traffic resources around the province.
