THUNDER BAY – Weekend weather is looking like we are headed to summer. There is always lots to do in Thunder Bay. Here are some selected choices for you to consider.
Tonight at Prince Arthurs Landing, it is movie night. The feature movie is Jaws. The 1975 thriller is bound to have you looking out over Lake Superior at the Sleeping Giant and being very happy it is the world’s largest fresh water lake. There might be giant Northern Pike in the lake but they are nothing like a Great White Shark.
Jaws at Prince Arthurs Landing
Movies start after sunset, once it is dark around 10pm. So bring your warm clothing, a lawnchair and blanket and enjoy the show on the big screen overlooking beautiful Lake Superior. Admission is FREE! Concessions will be available.
Before the show, visit the Baggage Building Arts Centre between 7pm and 9pm for a bite to eat while enjoying local entertainment at their Coffee House.
This year you will have the added pleasure of viewing a short film by a local filmmaker before each feature movie, so come early to get the best seat and catch some excellent local talent.
