THUNDER BAY – Crime – Updated Busted! Thunder Bay Police announce that the man they sought has been arrested. A 32 year old Thunder Bay man has been charged with theft under five thousand dollars, in regards to the theft of an Alzheimer’s donation box from the North Cumberland Husky gas station on the 30th of May. The accused turned himself to the Police on the 2 June 2013. He has been released with a court date in July.
As the charges have not been sworn to, his name will not be released by police at this time. The Thunder Bay Police service would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this investigation.

Thunder Bay Police had a quieter night, wet rainy weather and criminal activity seem to be issues that don’t mix.
There were still 23 Quality of Life calls, and three weapons offences.
Police also were called to six assaults, and one sexual assault over the past twenty-four hours. There were two assaults, and one disturbance reported and responded to by police at the corner of Brodie and Victoria Avenue in the downtown south core. Weapons offences were on May Street and another at Foley and Banning Street.
There were two liquor offences recorded on Cumberland near the Shoreline Motor Inn.
