Spring on the farm lets the family have fun, and the kids get to enjoy too!

THUNDER BAY – Fort William Historical Park will host Spring on the Farm this Sunday. It is a fun time for the entire family to experience what it is like back on the farm back in the day. 

There is a little something for everyone during Spring on the Farm, Sunday, June 2nd, from 10 am to 5 pm at Fort William Historical Park.  

FWHP Fun for Everyone

Springtime adventure is in store for the whole family during Spring on the Farm at Fort William Historical Park, Sunday, June 2nd

Kids will delight in getting nose to nose with young farm animals including chicks, ducks, turkeys, lambs, goats, and a little piglet. Children will also enjoy hands-on fun planting pumpkin seeds. Get involved in games including the Lucky Duck Pluck and Frogs on Logs.  Help colour a 16-foot farm mural. Enter the Name the Baby Lamb Contest.  

Demonstrations include butter churning and sheep shearing.  Get involved in making heritage crafts. Meet some fur trade characters while touring the historic buildings.

Admission for Spring on the Farm: Adult: $10.00; Seniors, Students, and Youths: $8.00

Children 5 and under: Free

The RV campground is also open for business. Camping Rates: $35.00, with power (plus HST); $25.00 without power (plus HST). 

Event admission is in addition to camp site fees. To reserve, call Reservations at 807-473-2331 or 807-473-2347.  The Cantine will also be open serving refreshments.
