THUNDER BAY – Business – It was a big day for employees at the Thunder Bay Woodlands operation of Resolute Forest Products. They celebrated their recent achievement of working 250,000 hours without having a Recordable Injury. This is approximately one year for 120 employees to work without having an injury that is considered recordable.
To recognize this achievement, Resolute Forest Products presented the operation with a Board of Directors Award, which included a plaque and $5,000 to be directed to the employees’ charity of choice. This year, the employees chose to support the Northern Cancer Fund of the Thunder Bay Regional
Health Sciences Foundation.
