Weather Warning SnowTHUNDER BAY – Freezing Rain Warning issued. A Freezing rain warning has been issued by Environment Canada for a couple of hours this morning.

A low pressure system tracking eastward across Northern Minnesota has spread precipitation over regions near Western Lake Superior this morning. The precipitation will begin as freezing rain before changing to snow or rain. Freezing rain may last a couple of hours before the changeover.

Freezing Rain Warning issued

Untreated surfaces may become slippery. Travellers are advised to exercise caution and delay travel plans if possible. 

The conditions should improve by this afternoon as a high of 10c is in the forecast.

Road conditions for travel are likely to be impacted. There is no word from the Thunder Bay International Airport on flight delays this morning. Likely checking with the airline you plan to fly this morning would be a good idea.
