THUNDER BAY – The West Thunder Community Centre elected a new President and Board of Directors for 2013 at its annual general meeting held March 27, 2013.
Susan Landversitch was elected President. Ms. Landversitch had previously served as the Centre’s Treasurer since 2001. Ms. Landversitch will now lead the West Thunder Community Centre into its 20th year of operation. Vice President is Barbara Clara; Treasurer is Margaret Crowe; and Secretary is Beatrice Metzler.
Directors acclaimed for a three-year term are Larry Fontaine and Bruce Iwasa.
Continuing their terms as elected directors are Beatrice Metzler and Ron Moro. Appointees are Steve Seller representing the Lakehead Japanese Cultural Association and Lesely Fontaine representing the Seniors Association.

Marie Boesche is the General Manager, a position she has held for 20 years.
The West Thunder Community Centre is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2013, and continues to serve the Westfort community and all City residents with recreational programming, as well as providing meeting and banquet facilities
