SAULT STE MARIE – Crime – Sault Ste Marie Police report, “On March 20, 2013 police were called to a domestic dispute in the area of MacDonald Avenue. It is alleged that the after a verbal argument the accused grabbed on to the victim in an effort to stop the victim from leaving. A male age 25 will appear in court on April 24, 2013 at 9:30”.
Further, Sault Ste Marie Police state, “It is alleged that on March 20, 2013 at approximately 4:00PM Cody Marshall, age 25 of 245 Eastern Avenue attended at the Dairy Queen on Trunk Road. At that time the accused pulled out a knife and demanded the money from the cash register”.
“The accused attempted to conceal his identity by wearing a toque and a neck warmer. The accused did not get anything from the business and fled on foot. The accused was apprehended by police running through the parking lot at Pino’s Grocery Store”.
“The accused was charged with robbery and transported to the station. A further charge of robbery was added from an armed robbery that occurred on March 18, 2013 at the Sub Shop at 255 Trunk Road. The accused will appear in bail court on March 21, 2013 at 10:00AM”.
On March 20, 2013 a young person, age 17 was arrested for breaching conditions on 2 separate court releases. It is alleged that the accused did not abide by a curfew on March 19, 2013 in which the accused was suppose to be in residence between the hours of 10:00PM and 7:00AM.
The accused was also charged with breaching probation by not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour. The accused will appear in bail court on March 21, 2013 at 10:00AM.
