Regional Crime Report Thunder Bay Police Missing Person Crime News, RCMP, OPPTHUNDER BAY – Crime – Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a serious assault which occurred in the 400 block of May St North on Sunday night. A thirty-one year old male has sustained head injuries as a result of the incident and alleged assault. The victim has been transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences.

The victim of the incident is reported to be in critical condition. Thunder Bay Police have an 18 year old male in custody for Aggravated Assault.

Over the weekend, police also are investigating a robbery that happened on the north side of the city.

Thunder Bay Police report that at approximately 1:30AM EDT on Sunday March 17, 2013 a robbery occurred at the Shell Convenience Store located at 807 Red River Road.

Police reportedthat a male enter the store and approached the till area. The male had a knife demanding money and cigarettes. The suspect left the store on foot, last seen on Clarkson heading toward Walkover.

Thunder Bay Police are looking go identify the male responsible for this robbery. The suspect is 5’8 with a slim build, brown hair, wearing black runners with white soles, baggy jeans, a green winter jacket with a hood over a black and white bush jacket. The male had on a camo mask over his face.
