Think Globally Act Locally Live February 19th… by North Superior Workforce Planning Board

THUNDER BAY – Business – Think Globally Act Locally – On Tuesday, February 19th from 11:30-2:30pm North Superior Workforce Planning Board, in partnership with Employment Ontario, Confederation College, Thunder Bay CEDC, and Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a special presentation at the Victoria Inn entitled, “Think Globally, Act Locally”.

Livestream of Keynote Address starts at 12:30PM EST

The presentation will feature a keynote address by Thomas Townsend. Thomas will provide an overview of where we’ve been economically and with our workforce as a region and help us determine where we need to go and how we need to work together to get there through an informal yet captivating keynote.

His presentation will be followed by facilitated discussions to motivate us and to come away with a renewed sense of direction in growing our region’s workforce and economy.

Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge from both a national and international vantage point and is able to effectively translate the global scene to the local scene, promoting strategic action along the way. This event will empower our community partners to face our economy’s opportunities as a collective and will walk away with a plan.
