THUNDER BAY – Business – Expedition Helicopters Inc. — a division of the Expedition Group of Companies and partnerships, including Expedition Camp Service & Logistics and Expedition Freight Solutions — has acquired the fleet of V. Kelner Helicopters located in Thunder Bay, Ont.

Expedition Helicopters Inc., owned and operated by Todd Calaiezzi, has a main base in Cochrane, Ont. and satellite offices in Moosenee/Moose Factory and Hearst, Ont.; Roquemaure and Gatineau, Que.; and now in Northwestern Ontario. The Thunder Bay satellite office is conveniently located at the Thunder Bay International Airport.

As a growing company, Expedition is more than just helicopters: it’s a logistics company that with the addition of two Eurocopter AS350 B3 aircraft to an already diverse fleet of 12 is the largest helicopter operator in Northern Ontario.
