THUNDER BAY – Business – 2012 marked yet another great year for our growing organization. The SHIFT Board of Directors and the countless SHIFT Volunteers dedicated their time and energy to help ensure that we were able to successfully host 15 Events and continue to grow the SHIFT following to well over 1200 SHIFTers. With all of the help and support of our members, SHIFT was able to give back to our community, and to act as the Voice of Young Professionals on a number of key community issues.

SHIFT continues to grow

The support that SHIFT continues to receive from community members, business partners, community organizations, and our sponsors is incredible.

On behalf of the SHIFT Board of Directors, I would like to offer our thanks for everything that each of you have contributed towards SHIFT and our initiatives as Thunder Bay’s Young Professional Network! It is a direct result of the volunteers and supporters that we have achieved the level of success that we have to date.

Looking forward into 2013, we are excited about what lays ahead for our organization. We have just published the 2013 Schedule of Events which outlines the activities that our volunteers are enthusiastically in the process of planning and organizing.

Please take a few minutes to review and book the events for the year in your personal schedules. Each and every time we host an event, they sell out faster and faster, so be sure to keeps tabs of all event announcements on the SHIFT Facebook page and website to ensure you’re able to register quickly.

SHIFT -Voice of Young Professionals

Shift NetworkIn addition to the full slate of events, the SHIFT Board of Directors is hard at work making sure that SHIFT remains a leading organization in Thunder Bay representing the Voice of Young Professionals in our community.

As a young organization, it is important to make sure that the work we have been doing over the past few years continues to grow and will represent the beginning of what will be a long history for our great organization!

SHIFT: Thunder Bay’s Young Professional Network is a community organization that brings together and engages like-minded individuals who care about their community. The young professionals of today will be the leaders of tomorrow and SHIFT hopes to continue to help attract, develop and retain that talent here in Thunder Bay.

SHIFT is a very diverse group that does not restrict its membership; we welcome with open arms any individual that wants to help improve our community while having a good time doing it. Being a SHIFTer means more than just being part of an organization, it’s about being a part of a community. We are excited about what’s to come for SHIFT in the years ahead.

Keep your eyes and ears open for new and exciting announcements to come!

Sincerely,

Nathan Lawrence
