TORONTO – Sochi 2014 is calling! Are you looking to live the Olympic dream? “For Canadians, 2014 is going to be particularly exciting Games because we’re building on the huge momentum that we developed in Vancouver in 2010,” said Christopher Overholt, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee. “So for every Canadian who holds a torch for our Olympic Team, we recommend getting their tickets quickly because Sochi is sure to be the event of a lifetime and the reality is that availability is not going to last.”

Whether it’s powdered snow or slick ice that gets your heart racing, Canadian fans looking to live the Olympic dream will be able to purchase individual tickets for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games from CoSport, starting on February 11th, 2013. Individual tickets will join the Sochi 2014 packages for sale starting at noon (EST) and will be available on a first come, first serve basis from CoSport, the official and exclusive ticket distributor for the Canadian Olympic Team.
 
“Demand is strong now, and we expect it to build throughout the year as availability becomes scarce,” said Robert Long, president of CoSport.  “There are plenty of options to choose from today, but the best tickets to the best events will go fast -– as will availability in the most sought-after hotels.”  The results of CoSport’s Expression of Interest phase indicated strong interest across all the seven countries in which the company will be selling individual tickets and packages.

Prices for individual tickets begin at US$22. In addition, CoSport offers a variety of Hotel and Tickets Package as well as Ticket and Hospitality Pass Package available at different price points. Physical tickets and seat assignments will not be distributed until early January 2014, as soon as the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee initiates this process.
