THUNDER BAY – At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 a robbery occurred at the Mac’s Convenience Store located 394 Oliver Road. Police report two males suspects entered the store and approached the till area. One male left the store, and the second male pulled out a knife and demanded money and cigarettes.
The store clerk complied and the male suspect left the store. He was chased in the Ontario Street area however he was not apprehended.
Thunder Bay Police are looking to identify the two males responsible for this robbery. The suspect is a native Canadian male , approximately 20 year old. He is described as 5’9″ to 6’2″ tall with a thin build. He has a short yellow Mohawk with the sides of his head shaved. He was wearing a black parka with a gray fur collar, tan Carhartt style pants and a black face mask covering the bottom portion of his face. .
The accomplice is described as being approximately 5’9″ tall wearing a jeans, runners, gloves and a black hoodie under a snowboard jacket that has a with red, blue and green rectangular pattern. He also had a scarf over his face.
