Thunder Bay Police have issued no statement on the video, but are likely now investigating the apparent threat to the service and officers.

The group through an anonymous video, and on a website with the transcript states:

“To our Indigenous Sisters: You are beautiful. You are Powerful. You deserve to live without fear.

“To our friends To Canadian politicians and police; We can no longer sit idly by. We are knocking down the doors of your old clubs those whom you’ve ignored As of this moment and incompetence. We have set up a secret nest right within the house of indignity that is Thunder Bay police headquarters. We see your piles of worthless paperwork relating to the kidnapping

“We see you telling media outlets one thing with your mouth and doing another with your actions. Five officers on the case? We see through your lies. As of now Where are the additional press releases? Where are detailed descriptions of known similar criminals? Where are the calls for more witnesses to come forward? Where are door to door canvasses of relevant neighbourhoods?

“Why have you decided that there are too many white males driving green two door sedans to pursue this case further? Did you learn the art of investigation in a small town mall? We have documented the cases of dozens of Indigenous Sisters in Northwest Ontario who have gone missing or faced similar sexual assaults. Why are you and your Barney Fife brothers in the Ontario Provincial Police so wretched at catching real criminals? Is it because there are so many evidences of your own racism? Is it because you just don’t care? Is it because the perpetrators are your friends and neighbours?

“Or maybe Anonymiss (sic) is everywhere. Maybe even holding your hand.Since you refuse to do your appointed jobs The most likely suspects in this situation are two white males previously described as follows: A Caucasian man now in his mid-20s. He is six feet. The second likely suspect is also a Caucasian man between the ages of 25 to 35 years old. He is about five-foot 10 much thinner build. He has brown hair.

“To the citizens of Thunder Bay and surrounding Ojibway on these highly suspicious characters interested in any and all tips around Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in North Western Ontario as well as information on unsolved cases of sexual assault.Over the next few weeks area and about the lives and deaths of those that they have failed to protect. We turned the tables on the culture of rape in Steubenville; Operation Thunderbird will do the same in Thunder Bay.”
