THUNDER BAY – Crime News – Thunder Bay Police have released the name of the sixth homicide victim for 2012. Twenty-five-year old Desmond Dennis Matthews was discovered at the Villa Street residence with vital signs absent.  Matthews was later pronounced dead at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

An autopsy examination of the deceased was conducted in Thunder Bay on December 31, 2012.  Results of that examination are being withheld since they are an important element in the investigation.

The second male found at the scene remains in critical condition in hospital.

Thunder Bay Police request that anyone with information that can assist the investigation come forward. You are asked to call the Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200 or call Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
