THUNDER BAY – Christmas is a time when after all the hustle and bustle and running around, after dinner on Christmas Eve, families start to settle down for the night. Often before heading out to Church, or to meet with family, it is time for some movie time.

There are many classic movies and shows that people enjoy.

What are your favourite all-time Christmas movies? That is a question that will have answers ranging across the gauntlet depending on who you ask.

The classic movies, like Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (1964), White Christmas (1954), and Its a Wonderful Life (1946) are likely higher on the favourites list for older people.

For the younger set, Home Alone (1990), The Polar Express (2004), A Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), and maybe even Die Hard would be more popular.

In the middle is the Dr. Seuss classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966).
