THUNDER BAY – FirstOnSite Restoration, Canada’s largest independent disaster restoration company, has announced the opening of a new branch in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The company’s newest branch will provide disaster restoration services to the residents and businesses of Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.

The branch opening comes on the heels of massive flooding in the city caused by severe rainfall last May. FirstOnSite responded to the disaster with a mobile command unit, and has remained in the area repairing damaged homes and businesses ever since.

“We work hard to remain on site until the job is done,” said Warren Tom, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Central Region. “In the case of Thunder Bay, we’ve taken that a step further and established a permanent presence in the area. We’ll be here for the long haul to provide the insurance industry and the community with top-notch restoration services, whenever the need should arise.”

The new branch will be led by Chris Holland, Branch Manager. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Chris brings more than ten years of insurance industry experience to his role. Prior to joining FirstOnSite Chris worked as an adjuster and commercial agent.

The opening of the Thunder Bay branch marks 45 branches for FirstOnSite across Canada and follows a series of branch renovations and relocations across Ontario, including the opening of a new national head office in Mississauga.

The FirstOnSite Thunder Bay location is now open and is located at 1154 Roland Street. Clients are encouraged to stop by and visit the team and facility. Call 807.475.5005 for more information or visit www.firstonsite.ca.
