THUNDER BAY – The Bay and Algoma District businesses invited the City of Thunder Bay, the contractors and neighbourhood to celebrate the grand re-opening of the street today. “It has been a long two years,” shared Brian Hamilton, President of the Business Association. “Today we invited the City down to celebrate the opening as partners in the success”.

The ribbon cutting was originally planned to close down the street but the snowfall overnight changed those plans. The sidewalk served instead for the ribbon cutting.
There was a large crowd of residents and business owners on hand to enjoy the festivities. The Bay and Algoma Business Association is home to a thriving community of locally owned companies. It is an amazing place for those in Thunder Bay looking to shop local for Christmas.
