THUNDER BAY – “Its the first time I carved a pumpkin”. Youth from the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association were enjoying ‘Spooktacular’ at Youth Centres Thunder Bay on Thursday. The youth were carving pumpkins donated to TBMA by Belluz Farms.

The smiles were as wide as the grins on the faces of the pumpkins.

Pulling the ‘guts’ out of the pumpkins offered some fun too. For all youth, the seeds and all are the ‘brains of the pumpkins’ and that view is certainly carried well across cultural lines with the youth.

The Thunder Bay Multicultural Association works with a wide variety of local groups and organizing committees to bring a multicultural flare to area festivals and events. The youth programs offer youth, volunteers and parents time to get together and share what is happening, and to enjoy time together.
