Green Drinks Thunder Bay THUNDER BAY – There’s a chill in the air (at least in the mornings!) and it’s clear that a busy fall season is already underway. Come and share your plans and events for the new season at Tony & Adams, 45 South Court Street, 5 – 7 pm. Green Drinks Thunder Bay is a monthly gathering for the environmentally aware; a great place to catch up, make new connections, find volunteer opportunities and more!   • Wednesday, Sept. 19, 7 pm –make it a complete night out with a movie from the Environmental Film Network! Right across the street at the Paramount Theater, see The Light Bulb Conspiracy”, an examination what planned obsolescence has done to us, our economy and our planet.  For more details, find the EFN on Facebook.
  •  EcoSuperior is now accepting applications for the position of Operations Supervisor. Complete details are at www.ecosuperior.org
  • Sept 28 – 30 at the Sports Dome – Don’t miss the Go Green Expo & Fall Into Winter Show – EarthWise®/EcoSuperior

  • Dead batteries lying around the house? You can now drop them off at several locations thanks to the City of Thunder Bay, including all public libraries, the Civic Centre at Victoriaville and EcoSuperior at 562 Red River Road.
  • There’s a possibility of frost in the forecast tonight—time to start pulling clearing out the gardens.  Pick up a composter for just $25 at EcoSuperior and you’ll get a head start on great fertilizer for next year.
