NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – The Thunder Bay Police have made an arrest in the robbery of a Mac’s Store on Balsam Street. Perhaps the message to those who want to rob stores in Thunder Bay is that it will result in a quick arrest.

As well Thunder Bay Police have identified the male who was found deceased on August 29th, 2012. Just before 9:00AM on Wednesday, individuals walking in the wooded area at the end of Field Street came across the male and went to a nearby business to call police.

The investigation lead Detectives to confirm that the deceased is a 65 year old Native Canadian male. Detectives are now awaiting the result of a post mortem to determine the cause of the death. The investigation is ongoing and investigators will be notifying the next of kin.
