THUNDER BAY – Chantelle M. Lesveque, Miss Petite Canada contestant

THUNDER BAY – Chantelle Mini Levesque was born in Dryden, Ontario and raised in Ignace, where she graduated high school and found her appreciation and passion of helping others and volunteering in her community and school. Chantelle is passionate about working with people and helping everyone, especially children, which is why she completed the Early Childhood Education Program with an ECE Diploma from Confederation College in 2007.

Chantelle is currently working for Revera, a homecare company assisting the elderly, and people with disabilities or illness, to be able to continue living in their home by providing them with activities for daily living.

Chantelle showed interest in Miss Canada Petite Pageant because it was an opportunity to have a once in a life-time experience with a company that includes everyone regardless of culture and size which has reflected upon Chantelle’s belief that everybody is beautiful and deserves to feel confident in their body regardless of size, culture, abilities/disabilities and religious beliefs.

She states “We are all unique individuals who deserve a positive self-image, which is why she started up an EveryBODY campaign to help promote a healthier mind set for today’s society to realize that everybody is unique, deserves acceptance, deserves the right to play sports to keep healthy, deserve love and respect and she wants people to stop discriminating and to realize that EveryBODY is beautiful”.

Chantelle really focuses on the positive things in life.

Chantelle’s future goal is to open up her own family friendly medicinal/holistic healing Health and Wellness Retreat Centre to provide a fun and active environment for families to enjoy being healthy together, and would love to have a therapeutic horse riding program available for people with special needs.
