THUNDER BAY – “I’m bored!” “There is nothing fun to do!” If you are hearing those laments from your young teens as summer continues, then maybe you should share this news with them.
Starting on Monday, July, 23 from 11am- 3pm the Regional Multicultural Youth Council are hosting the very first Band of Brothers day camp in Thunder Bay.
Band of Brothers is a program geared towards young men aged 11-16 and focuses on leadership, recreation, and personal development through fun activities and learning sessions in a peer-to-peer environment.
Band of Brothers will be hosted at Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School at 315N Edward St, starting on Monday, July 23rd, and Wednesday, July 25th from 11AM to 3PM and continuing each Monday and Wednesday throughout the summer.
Transportation and lunch is included for all participants.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am- 3pm the RMYC are holding Girl Power day camps in Thunder Bay.
Girl Power is a program geared towards young women aged 10-18 and focuses on leadership, self-esteem, peer pressure, recreation, and personal development through fun activities and learning sessions in a peer-to-peer environment.
Girl Power will also be hosted at Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School at 315N Edward St, every day on Tuesday and Thursdays from 11AM to 3PM throughout July and August summer 2012.
Transportation and lunch is included for all participants.
