Pro-Life Demonstrators face resistance and chocolate milk

NNLCRIMEbeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – A pleasant day and a street fair in the Bay and Algoma business district was visited by pro-life demonstrators. The group, Choice Chain is organized by Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. CCBR is traveling through Canada with the “New Abortion Truck”.

The demonstration was set up around noon hour on June 16th, 2012 in the Bay and Algoma Street Area.

Thunder Bay Police beat officers were approached by a business owner about the demonstration that was taking place, and the nature of the images that were being displayed by the participants.

The demonstrators were spoken to by police and confirmed that it was their intention to hold a peaceful expression of opinion in an public place.

A short time later a male approached the group of demonstrators and poured chocolate milk over the heads of four of the demonstrators.

Police returned to the area, arrested the male and escorted him to the Balmoral Police Station. The 36 year old male was charged with four counts of Assault. He was released with a future court date.
