THUNDER BAY – Events – Loffredo & Associates are proud to be a part in facilitating the entertainment at the Rock Retro Revue event at Grand Portage Lodge & Casino. Multi-million selling California rockers, Smash Mouth, Headline Grand Portage Lodge & Casino’s Retro Rock Revue Weekend.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Thunder Bay’s Flood Relief effort.

Frank Loffredo shares, “This was part of an annual OUTDOOR ROCK FESTIVAL on the shore of Lake Superior. that Grand Portage has generously decided to cover all the costs associated not only with Smash Mouth on the Saturday headline slot June 30th, but the concert with KISS Army, and the Hoolies June 29th as well as the Boogie Wonderland and Zep Show in the afternoon on June 30th.”

“100% of proceeds from dollar one is going to the Red Cross disaster relief fund for Thunder Bay. If 2000 people show up that is $50,000 to the disaster fund. This is not something that should be going unnoticed. Hopefully other big players may come to the table. The area where the concert is large enough to accommodate thousands of people. Celebrate two days of the very best of 70s, 80s and 90s rock at Grand Portage Lodge & Casino’s 2nd annual Retro Rock Revue Festival, Friday June 29th and Saturday June 30th. On Friday June 29th, rock out under the big tent on Lake Superior’s shore with Thunder Bay’s The Hoolies, playing classic rock from 5pm till 8:30pm, and followed at 9pm by Kiss Tribute Phenomenon, Kiss Army! With identical makeup, outrageous outfits, classic instruments and top-notch musicianship, Kiss Army rules!

And on Saturday June 30th, get down to the smooth sounds of Boogie Wonderland, Minnesota’s number one 70’s Disco Dance band, at 2pm. Then, turn up the rock with Led Zeppelin tribute, the Zep Show, from 6pm. And at 9pm, headliners Smash Mouth take to the stage with their very own brand of 60s-influenced garage band pop

Since being formed in 1994, Smash Mouth has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Along with their number one hits – Walkin’ on the Sun and All Star – they have consistently impacted radio with other recognizable hits like Then the Morning Comes, Can’t Get Enough Of You Baby, and a cover of The Monkees classic I’m a Believer, which was prominently featured on the Shrek soundtrack. A quick listen to their music and you realize the multi-platinum Smash Mouth have created a sound that is all their own.
