THUNDER BAY – The heavy rainfall of the past several days has resulted in the Flood Warning from the Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority. It also has massive water volumes at Kakabeka Falls.

Damien Gilbert has captured those volumes of water flooding over the falls in this video.

The weather forecast for Saturday is likely to help slow the flooding dangers. Environment Canada is forecasting, “Increasing cloudiness in the morning. High 13. UV index 3 or moderate. For Saturday night, Cloudy with showers beginning in the evening. Winds becoming east 20 km/h before morning. Low 8.”
