The award is presented annually in recognition of an individual or team effort to advance and improve the quality of palliative and end-of-life care.
Marg Poling is the Palliative Pain and Symptom Management consultant with the North West Community Care Access Centre. In this role, she advocates for excellence in the delivery of hospice/palliative/End-of-Life care across sectors, including community, Long-Term Care and group homes.
“It’s an extreme honour to be recognized by your peers, yet at the same time humbling because of the number of people who have been involved with the work being acknowledged,” shared Marg.
