Thunder Bay Chill Junior Girls sitting atop the standings

Thunder Bay ChillTHUNDER BAY – The Chill Jr. Reserve Female was only 1 win away from a perfect weekend as they went with 3 wins and 1 loss in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The girls who are sitting at the top of the standings had Anna Maclean step out of her goal keeping duties to score 6 goals over the weekend. Hailey Shipston tended the goal for the 3 wins.

The Reserve Males also got off to a great start on Saturday with two straight wins; however, managed to settle for two ties on Sunday. Mitch Hannusch continued his scoring touch with 4 goals and Joe Quadrilatero had a goal in every game.

The Jr. Reserve Males got off to a slow start on Saturday with two losses but rebounded back with two ties on Sunday and the Select Males lost 4 close games over the weekend.

The teams will now have a few weeks off from travel and league play. The next round of games will be played on June 16th and 17th in Winnipeg. This will be a full club affair as the Men’s PDL team will also be in Winnipeg to play two PDL league games against WSA Winnipeg.
