Schreiber OntarioSCHREIBER – LEADERS LEDGER – It is with deep regret that I announce I will be requesting a leave of absence from my position as the Mayor of Schreiber effective May 12, 2012. I have a professional opportunity which will require me to be out of the community for extended periods during the next six months.

It will not be possible to serve as Mayor during this time.

I am extremely proud of the work our Council, management and staff has accomplished over the past year and a half together.

We have tackled the considerable financial challenges head on and have made significant progress that will benefit Schreiber for years to come.

I am very confident that Council will continue on a strong path forward.

It has been a true honour to represent and serve the people of Schreiber and it is with a heavy heart I accept this new challenge.
