Thunder Bay Fire Fighters respond to fireTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay firefighters responded to a house fire on Rita Street early on Monday night. The call came in around 7:30PM. Reports from local residents say no one was in the home at the time of the fire, and no one was hurt in the fire.

Five fire trucks responded to the fire.

On Sunday night, firefighters responded to another house fire on Picton Avenue. In that case one side of the duplex was damaged by fire, and there is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire. Sources have reported to NetNewsledger that the fire may have been set by a resident of the home.
