Police Seek Two Suspects in Sunday Afternoon Robbery and Attack

NNLCRIMEbeatThunder Bay – Crimebeat – At 3:34PM on Sunday afternoon, Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a robbery in the 100 block of Nelson Street. A 26 year old female had been jumped from behind and knocked to the ground. Her purse stolen by two unknown assailants in front of a residence. The two suspects are described as Native Canadian males, 5′ 5″ to 6 ‘ tall, one wearing a black hoodie with a knife in the back pocket .The other was wearing a white hoodie .

The woman was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center with non life threatening injuries by ambulance. She has since been released.

Suspect #1 – mid 20 years old
– black hoodie with white logo or writing in the hip area on the right side
– birthmark or mole on left side of face
– 5 inch long ponytail
– left ear pierced with large gemstone earring

Suspect #2 – mid 20 years old
– white hoodie with mud on the back
– collar length hair
– scruffy facial hair
