RCMP and Peel Regional Police Seek Public’s Help to Locate Missing Girl

Emma LokeaniTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – A missing teenage girl has police in Ontario and British Columbia cooperating to assist in locating the teen. The Oceanside RCMP, in providing investigative assistance to Peel Regional Police in Ontario, are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a teenaged girl reported as missing from Mississauga, Ontario. Emma Lokelani Woods, who is fifteen years old is believed to have boarded a Greyhound bus in Mississauga, Ontario on January 11th, 2012, with the intention of heading to British Columbia. She had previously lived in B.C. before moving to Ontario in the autumn of 2011 and it is thought that she has set out to return to the province.

The young girl has contacts in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. She is described as being 5’5″, 137 lbs, light complexion, shoulder length blonde hair (possibly dyed a different colour), and hazel eyes. She has an earring in her nose and a mole on her right shoulder.

It is unknown how Emma would presently be dressed, however she was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and black yoga pants, carrying a pink and black backpack.

The public are asked to please contact their local police if they have seen Emma, or if they have any information as to her location.
