THUNDER BAY – Creative genius is what it takes to make our worlds go around. Mohammad Escrow aka Maddpsyense has been an influential part of the Thunder Bay Hip Hop scene since the late 90’s. First starting back in 1995 writing rhymes alongside Neilly Neil in high school, Escrow eventually went on to perform local talent shows.
Escrow went on to join the Def Control crew in the year 2000 alongside Rogue and Darkside.
In 2001 Escrow released his first solo EP titled “Sorcerer Soul Snatcha” which was sold in HMV stores across Canada. In 2002 Escrow joined forces with DJ Dystrakted forming CreativMaz. In 2003 alongside L-Vicious, DJ Ghost and Rogue they formed Muthatrukaz which eventually had up to 10 members in the group.
After the demise of the Muthatrukaz Escrow kept to the grind alongside Rogue, Low Lux, Kasper and Neilly Neil and formed Hit N Run in February 2005. Since then the Hit N Run crew has released mixtapes, released a music video for the movie “Off Season” titled Hush .In the summer of 2007 Escrow and Kasper filmed the video “Real Talk”and had the official video release at Armani’s Night Club in October of ’07.

Escrow is also involved in the local promotions scene having his hand in working on bringing some of the biggest hip hop names to Thunder Bay. While working with Loffredo & Associates (formerly Multi-Media Entertainment) he had an influential part in having Naughty By Nature, Swollen Members, 2 Live Crew,Young Buck of G-Unit and Obie Trice grace Thunder Bay stages.
Mohammad Escrow has performed alongside Swollen Members, Mood Ruff ,Frek Sho ,Bif Naked ,David Usher, Sloan, Naughty By Nature, Josh Martinez , Classified ,D.L Incognito, Peanuts & Corn, Choclair, Solitair, Kyprios, Pocket Dwellers ,Rick Threat ,Black Moon ,Moka Only, Mr. Brady ,Subb, Shades of Culture, Herbaliser, I.R.S, Royce Da’ 5’9 ,2 Live Crew, DJ Dopey ,Rochester aka Juice Young Buck of G-Unit , Obie Trice,DJ Jazzy Jeff , Joe Budden, and D12.
Mohammad moved to the Greater Toronto area in 2009 and has continued to work alongside area artists in order to expose Thunder Bay talent in Southern Ontario. Mohammad is currently performing in Southern Ontario in cities such as Toronto, Guelph and Cambridge showing and has recieved great responses from crowds.
Mohamamd is currently working on his EP “Escrow Season” under the Def Kontrol imprint which was started by Thunder Bay resident Alan Corbett aka DJ Rogue. Mohammad continues to work with Thunder Bay residents Dj Rogue, Dystrakted & John Suave (SNS), John Lynn, Classic Roots, and Thunder Bay hometown heros Burnz N Hell.
Mohammad plans to release this EP on itunes and physical release in the first quarter of 2012.
