LRCATHUNDER BAY – Shop Local – Looking for a cool, unique stocking stuffer for the hard-to-buy-for? Have an outdoorsy friend or family member? This holiday season, why not give them the opportunity to explore our local Conservation Areas?

The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority is proud to offer the new, 2012 Explorer Card! The Card is an annual pass that allows unlimited, year-round access (except seasonal Areas) to our 8 Conservation Areas including Cascades, Mission Island Marsh, Hurkett Cove, Silver Harbour, Little Trout Bay, MacKenzie Point, Cedar Falls and Hazelwood Lake Conservation Areas!

Forgo the $2 per vehicle charge when you have an Explorer Card: simply display it in your windshield or on your dash. At a cost of only $30 +HST, the Card works out to only $2.50 a month; an unbeatable value, especially compared with the cost of visiting Provincial Parks and other Conservation Areas in Ontario. Also included in your purchase is a super-durable and waterproof map outlining our Area of Jurisdiction and locations of our Conservation Areas.

This Christmas, give the gift of local recreation and exploration while supporting a great cause! Please feel free to contact us for more information at (807) 344-5857, or check out our website at www.lakeheadca.com.
