Crimebeat – Disturbance outside Apartment Building Party Results in Charges

THUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – The Thunder Bay Police Service report that at about 11:00PM on November 12th, uniformed officers responded to a disturbance going on outside of an apartment building on Hudson Ave. The involved people were leaving a party that had just broken up inside the building. Two individuals were arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and lodged at the Balmoral Police Station for their safety until they had sobered up.

Just before midnight officers responded to a second disturbance going on in the same apartment. When officers arrive they located a male in the hallway unconscious and bleeding. He was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center and has since been released. Police located a second male in the stairwell that was believed to have been assaulted. He was also escorted to the hospital and has since been released.

A 19 year old Thunder Bay man has been charged for Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He will appear in court today.

The investigation continues.
