THUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Perhaps the real message from the City of Thunder Bay Police Service should be “Do the crime and get caught”. Combined efforts of the Uniform Patrol and the Criminal Investigation Branch actively followed up leads form the arrest made yesterday to take a second male into custody for the Macs Mart robberies. A 24 year old Thunder Bay man is being held in custody on 4 counts of Robbery and Disguise with Intent. He will appear in court today.
25 year old Darcy Belmore was remanded in court today on the Robberies charges and will have 3 counts of Disguise with Intent added to the charges he was arrested for yesterday.
These two males are allegedly responsible for five of the Macs Mart robberies that occurred in the past six weeks.
