Police are warning the public about a suspicious male

crimebeatTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – Thunder Bay Police Service are warning the public about a suspicious male who is alleged to have grabbed the arm of a 14 year old female. The incident occurred in the city’s south side just after 3:00PM on Monday. Police report, “It is alleged that a lone male driving a SUV had motioned for the teen to come to his vehicle while she walked in the 200 block of Cumming Street. The male then got out of his vehicle and grabbed the girl’s arm. The victim was able to break away from his grip and ran home to call police. She was not injured. The male drove away in an unknown direction”.

Suspect Description:

  • Caucasian male – Age mid 40’s
  • Approximately 5’6” tall – medium build
  • Grayish hair – scruffy appearance
  • Wearing a grey sweater with a zipper and jeans

Suspect Vehicle:

  • May have been a gold SUV

Police are asking anyone with information to call Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers 623-8477.
