Drug Enforcement Officers Seize Oxycodone

OxycodoneTHUNDER BAY – Crimebeat – The Thunder Bay Police Service reports that “On October 3, 2011 Drug Enforcement Officers assisted by Thunder Bay Police Community Response Unit officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a residence in the 800 block of Onion Lake Road Thunder Bay”.

The search of the Onion Lake Road residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 200 Oxycodone 80 milligram tablets, and approximately $19,000.00 in Canadian currency. Street value of the Oxycodone is approximately $16,000.00 according to Police.

Mark Hamilton Fox a thirty-eight year old male, as well as an unidentified thirty-six year old female were taken into custody. Both have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone s 5(2) CDSA as well as Proceeds of Crime exceeding $5,000.00 s. 354(1) (a) CC. Fox was held in custody for a bail hearing and was later released on conditions and the female has a future court date of November 9, 2011.
