THUNDER BAY – The Heart and Stroke Foundation wants voters to make their voices heard in that conversation. They have created a campaign called “Healthy Candidates” that encourages voters to challenge their local candidates to sign on to becoming a Healthy Candidate, which means pledging to invest more in promoting and supporting better health in Ontario.
Wendy Halvorson Savoy from the Heart and Stroke Foundation shares that in Thunder Bay, “We are the only region in province to have all candidates sign on”.
Right now there is a contest going, where participants can win an Ipad 2.
You can go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s website to get all the details.
