THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have supplied some added information on the robberies at two North-side Thunder Bay Macs Stores.
At the Oliver Road and High Street store; The suspect entered the store just before 5:30 a.m. Suspect is described as being male, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” with a slender build. He was wearing a blue sweater or jacket over top of a colourful hoodie with the hood having a bright pattern.
At the River Street and Balsam Store, the suspect entered the store at approximately 7:00 a.m. Suspect is described as being male, slim build, approximately 5’10” tall. He was wearing dark clothing including a dark hoodie with a red liner.
As well. a home in the 300 block of Madeline Street was the scene of a break-in Saturday night just before 7:00 p.m. Police arrived on scene after receiving a call from a neighbour who saw three youths entering a window in the rear of the home. No one was at home at the time of the incident.
Further investigation by the officers resulted in the arrest of three male youths. Two were aged 15 and the other 16. Another youth is expected to be charged in connection with this incident. Police will also be looking at connections to other break-ins in the city’s north side. The three have been charged with Break and Enter and Breach of Probation.
