Busy weekend for Thunder Bay Police

crimebeatTHUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police report a busy weekend. From Friday night to Monday morning there were over 300 calls for service to the Thunder Bay Police. Police report there were two robberies occurred during the early morning hours on Friday night and Saturday at two north side Mac’s convenience stores.

Both robberies involved lone males who concealed their faces. Both suspects were armed with a knife. The suspect in each robbery made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. At this time it is not known if both robberies are related. Both investigations are ongoing.

There were also several assaults, incidents involving problems with youth, and a number of property crimes.
